Trager with Harry

Harry Dalford a Trager practitioner As an Civil Engineer by trade I am a natural sceptic - I like to see, feel and understand something before I would endorse it.

As a Martial artist (of 30+ years practice of Aikido) I am familiar with many ways to move and work with the human body.

Out of curiosity I have tried many forms of massage, bodywork and 'healing'. They were (for the most part) very nice, some were more comfortable than others but for me, they did not quite hit the spot.

However when I received my first session from Julie as a Trager Student I experienced a new awareness and inspiration.

When I attended a Trager Level 1 training I found the 'Work' wonderfully fascinating in the simplicity and logical approach to the benefits for my body (both as giver and receiver) and the bodies of others.

As a licensed Trager Practitioner I find the more I learn, the more curious I become. So far it has been an interesting journey and I am sure that it will continue to be so.

I feel particularly privileged when working with people who have suffered or are suffering with critical conditions such as cancer, MS and severe injury. I do some voluntary work at the Fountain Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital; www.fountaincancersupport.com

It is very valuable to me that much of what I have learnt as a Trager Practitioner has made any physical task and my Aikido practice so much easier when applying basic Trager principles

Trager, Mentastics and the Dancing Cloud Logo are all registered service marks of Trager® International.
