Julie Kingston
Trager with Julie
I was inspired by watching Trager on a documentary called " Jerry Hall's Gurus" on the BBC, and became fascinated by the profound effect this something called "Trager" had on her.
I had never seen anything quite like it, so I sought out my nearest practitioner and had a fantastic session. After the session I was drawn to explore Trager further, so I joined an introductory workshop day run by Mary Hall, and the rest as they say is history.
I have practiced Yoga since my teens, and in the early nineties undertook the British Wheel of Yoga teacher training course and began teaching Yoga in 1993. From this I developed a keen interest in health issues, particularly stress, and have trained in massage, Cranio Sacral and Life Coaching.
Drumming
In addition to Trager I have an interest in Djembe drumming. I am a partner in www.drumheadslive.com
We provide local community drum circles, school workshops, charity events and corporate team building events.
Drumming is a wonderful way to lose stress and energise the body and have fun!
According to research the two handed action involves both sides of the brain and the rhythmic sounds induce the same brainwave state as meditation.
Drumming is very accessible for all age groups and abilities - including the Rhythmically Challenged.

Also Available
I also run small deep relaxation and meditation groups at my studio and if you are interested in either a led meditation group for you and your friends, or joining one in Bramley please let me know. Our next course begins on the March 2010. Currently we have a Friday morning and Monday evening group.
Julie can organise appointed person First Aid Certification Courses for CPD for therapists and other organisations.
